It's Heartfelt Creations Day today and a new month means a new release. So are you ready to feast your eyes on something that is just going to take your breadth away.
We have the Botanic Orchid Collection for you this month and believe me!!! You will be awestruck by its beauty.

Showy, elegant and graceful, the divine orchid flower is one that is most certainly recognizable for its unique shape and known for taking center stage all on its own!  Heartfelt Creations presents to you their newest collection…The Botanic Orchid.  Overflowing with stunning floral images enveloped in soothing moss like greens, soft sky blues, creamy whites and flowery pinks, alongside rich burgundies and vibrant teals this collection is sure to appeal to any flower enthusiast.  Intricate illustrations and die cuts of orchid blossoms and bouquets, accompanied by delightful hummingbirds and scripted sentiments will have you creating your very own botanical experience with hand shaped orchid flowers bringing a realistic touch to all of your paper creations!  Preprinted sentiments along with those in the stamp collection are ideal for covering a wide range of occasions including weddings, friendship, sickness, encouragement and sympathies.  As one of the oldest flower species in the world, this unusual blossom native to rainforests and jungles has also taken on beautiful meanings relating to each specific orchid color including innocence, grace, joy, respect, admiration, health, happiness and passion, making this the perfect flower to convey a silent but special message for friends and loved ones on any paper creation!

Black gesso or black acrylic paint,Heat gun, Distress ink Espresso and Peeled Paint.

Instructions
The Finished card measures 7" x 5".
Cut a card base in white card stock 7" x 10" and score at 5" on the long side. Fold and burnish well. To make the mat layer, cut a white card stock 4 3/4" x 6 3/4" and distress the edges with a paper distresser.
Distress the Edges with Distress inks. Cut a pattern paper in light green from the Botanic Orchid paper pad to a size a little smaller than mat layer. Emboss the paper with woodgrain texture embossing folder and apply distress ink Espresso on top with a very light hand. Cut thids patterned paper in 1.2 inch strips .Adhere on black cardstock with 1/8"gap between each strip. Distress the edges and shred with a paper distresser. Adhere onto the white mat layer.
Roughly tear a corrugated strip and distress it well with a blend of distress inks. Spray with water for ink to blend. Add dots of gesso with a splatter brush.
Cut two die cuts in white cardstock from the Window die and stick to each other. Apply the blue and green memento ink and sprinkle a little gold embossing powder randomly. Heat set the die cut. The round frame is actually a finished tape roll. Apply Sand paste all over and let it dry. Brush well with Distress inks and spray water to blend colours. Stick the Window die cut to the round frame and cut the extra edges.
Create a scene using artficial nest, twigs and classic leaf die cuts.
Stamp the Humming bird three times and paint two of them with Zig brush pens, and colour the third in black. This is the base layer. Create a 3D image of bird using the other two coloured die cuts. Adhere near the nest.
To create Daffodils with Orchid die--The orchid die is so versatile that you can create many beautiful flowers one of them being the Daffodils. In her Video Emma Lou shows how to create one. Stamp the orchid flower stamp 6 times with Versamark Embossing pad and add white Embossing powder.  Colour the petals with Cantaloupe Memento Ink and the centres with Tangelo Ink. Spray water very well and crinkle the edges of the broad petals and cup them very deeply. Form a cup shape with two such center shapes.Put one cup inside another and stick. Prick a hole in the centre. Cut out the petals with the coordianting die and shape on the Delux flower shaping tool. One flower requires two back petals and four center petals. Add a pollen with prills.
Arrange the flowers onto the card front as shown. Add a sentiment from the Paper pad.

I hope you like my work. Do leave your comments. I love reading each one of them. Stay tuned for the entire month to view more from this collection.
