SHAKER CARDS WITH XYRON

Hello Everyone !!!!

Its Shaker cards time !!!! Have super fun creating these cutest shaker cards without and fuss and believe me !!!!! Xyron has those gadgets that makes crafting so easy and wonderful. Check the entire range here at the Store.

I have made three shaker cards. Although these are so addictive and with Xyron Creative station to help you, I could have created many more .

Here they are...

To make this card, follow the photo tutorial below.

you will require the Xyron Creative Station Lite 5" and the Xyron Mega runner for this project.

Cut a card base in white card stock 5.5" x 4.25". Adhere a yellow mat layer using the Xyron Mega runner. Adhere a rectangle piece matching to the size of the shaker inner frame.

Cut two pieces of foam using the rectangle dies creating a frame as shown below. Cut one piece of pattern paper with the same frame die. Pass one foam frame and the pattern paper frame through the Creative Station to add adhesive to one layer. Pass the other foam frame once again face down to add adhesive to both sides.

Remove the backing paper from both foam pieces. Add two strips of pattern paper on one side using the Mega runner. Adhere the foam piece with adhesive both sides matching with the rectangle paper adhered before. Adhere the second foam piece on top. Add the sequins. Adhere a transparent film with Mega runner.

Adhere the pattern paper frame on the foam frame. Make embellishments  by stamping and colouring cute images. Pass them through the Creative station to add adhesive to their base. Pass the left over foam strips through the sticker machine to create adhesive foam strips. Cut squares from these to mount the embellishments on the card. Add a sentiment to finish it off.

Here is another example. I have used a circle die frame to create a circular shaker frame.

This card has an oval Shaker frame.

The Xyron Creative Station Lite 5" makes it very easy to create these shaker cards and what we get is super quick and clean projects. The foam tapes used here have also been made in the creative station.
