This card will highlight my addiction for Magnolia stamps. They are simply adorable. This card was made for a very dear friend's birthday and she made my day by saying that this was the best card she had ever received!!

Hi folks. its been a long time since I posted anything. I was MIA as I had gone to Mumbai to learn punch craft
and quilling. And GOD! what an amazing experience that was. I had a blast and believe me! These 7 days were the best moments I,ve ever had. I shopped and shopped and learnt some most beautiful projects, the samples of which you will be able to make out on my work.
First let me introduce to a dear friend and a very talented crafter who has become a very good friend of mine. She has started blogging recently and is entirely new in the blogging world.
She is SHALINI JAISWAL!!! I,m sure many of you must be familiar with that name!! I reuest you all to visit her blog and be her follower.

Hello to all!!!

Here is a quick post on a new card that was inspired from Jessica's blog. She celebrating her blogoversary and it is for all her bloggers friends-Blends! Now thats super cool , so do check it out.

This is a circular card and I loved its softness and detailing. A special note aout the cardstock-these are actually wedding invites that I got. I embossed the other side and layered it to cover the printed sides. A nice upcycling done here!

I wish I had a few more hours so that I could make more cards and enter many challenges. New Year has had a very hectic beginning and 24 hours seem to be too less for a day.
Anyways, just managed to squeeze some time for these challenges. This is a Picture Heavy post so please be patient.

My first card is for GHWI #12 where I followed this sketch.

The supplies are: Sentiment from unity quote bundle, CB embossing folder script texture and floral swirl
spellbinders dies for corners and frame, memento rich cocoa and black sot distres ink, card stock and PP from stash.

My second card is specially made for Varna's stamping challenge.

Hi Folks, I hope everyone's New Year has started with lots of fun and happiness. This is my first project for this year and I decided to go with the Unity Challenge of gift wrapping.
The template for this bag was saved from a gift packet that I got. I liked the design and opened it up. Its a brownie and cupcakes bag and I want to give this to my daughter who turned 16 years old today! She loves my baking and so I,m sure she would be thrilled to get this.
I have used the cuppy cakes Ippity stamp all over the bag to give it a cuppy cake background effect. The goodtimes and birthday sentiments are from Fiskars and I have used the Rich Cocoa Memento ink for distressing and stamping. Plus the spellbinders labels and flourishes dies have also been added. The ribbon is from stash.

Even on the tag, I ,ve stamped cuppy cakes many times to create a background.

I,m sure the festive season has really hit everyone as the whole blog world is full of holiday cards and giveaways. I was really busy with my son's 4th birthday and had a wild time with this jungle theme. Do check my FB page for the pics.

I hope all of you are well geared to meet the festive season with lots of crafting!

A good piece of news is that my white poinsettia card won in the sketch challen ge at the crafter cafe's blog.

Now here is another card that I thoroughly enjoyed making. It is an exploding box card with lots of lilies made with punch craft. I simply love these flowers as the effect is stunning. This is made for someone's birthday and will be gifted to her by her sister. This card is also my favourite as I could do lots of punch craft on this.

The holiday mood is setting in and with the advent of christmas, what is only in the mind are cards and gifts. I wanted to make these Poinsettia flowers since a long time and finally I when I could make them, I was really happy because not only the results were super but also that I could do something with punch craft something I,m really fond of !

Hi folks ! The entire blog world is full of holiday cards and thats enough to inspire anyone to get into the holiday mood ! This has been a super super hectic week as usual with lots of guests and weddings to attend. And a 50th anniversary album to be completed for my friend in just five days.

I worked till one at night for three days at a stretch to complete it and it was a back breaking job!

Another news is my this card won at The Crazy Challenge.

Now for my holiday card. I fell in love with this digi as soon as I saw it. This puppy in Santa coat is too adorable. The card is based on the current card patterns sketch.

I have coloured it with water colour pencils and applied lots of glitter on the fur part.

The PP are from stash and the ribbon is a local buy. All the embellishments are from stash.

The sentiments are fromCTMH and the labels are from spellbinders with little distressing with Barn Door. The paper behind the puppy is embossed in the CB and distressed with forest moss.

The lace is MS doiley lace punch.

A very big hell0 to all of you!! Its wonderful to be back!! I,ve been MIA since a few days and thats because I was down with terrible viral fever that left me drained and totally tired! Plus, when I got back on my feet, there was a backlog of pending orders to be completed!! Not to mention, my lost mojo!! But finally, I ve managed to break the jinx.

First, I won the October progressive challenge for this card.

Secondly, here is a pic of the birthday invites based on BEN 10 that I made on order. And that to 70 in total !

And now there is this very sparkly christmas card! It has lots of sparkle and shine in it. The images and sentiments are all digi ones. Colouring is done with watercolour pencils and distressing is done with tumbled glass and barn door.

The frame is spellbinders and the backdrop is embossed in swiss dots folder.

FIRST CHRISTMAS CARD

CARD MAKING IS ADDICTIVE!!! I discovered this when during the festival, I became very irritated and blew up everyone who came in my way. Then, I went to my craft room and started on this card and soon I calmed down. I have realized that if I make at least one card in two days, my mind is at peace.

So here is my first Christmas card. This is very special for me because the Santa is from the Magnolia Tilda world, a rak from Piali and I just love this stamp. On the whole, I really enjoyed making this card as red and white is my favourite colour. There will be more christmas cards coming here on the blog so keep a watch.

MORE FALL COLOURS

HELLO!!!!

Finally all the festivities are over. And now I can go back to our normal routine i.e back to my crafting! Although I enjoyed myself very much with getting decked up, to decorating the house and cooking, but this all involved a lot of hard work! But in the end, the results were good, so no complaints. I missed crafting during these days, but was warned seriously by my hubby that I should not even think of touching any paper during this time!!! So, the command was followed! But I did cheat for one hour. (LOL).To release the stress, I started making a fall card but couldn't complete it. Today it got finished and here it is for you all.

Although we do not celebrate fall in India, yet there are other festivals going on here, so just the names differ but the celebrations are same.This is also my first attempt to make a center step card and I really like the folds.The image is a digi taken from free colouring pages.

FIRST FALL FUN

Hi friends! First , I want to thank all my blogger friends for their lovely comments about my punch craft. I showed it to my DH and he couldn't believe it! You all have really put me on cloud nine!!!!

Another thing that I wanted to share was that I ,ve made MY OWN SCRUB PAD for cleaning stamps. And its working great!! Now I can instantly clean my stamps and store them in my newly organized folder. I bought these clear display sheets and joined two OHP sheets on the top with cellotape. Then I put thin double tapes or wonder tapes on the inside and stuck my stamps. On some sheets, I divided it into two parts and made a slit in the center for smaller stamps. These are filed in a ring binder file. Now I can just turn the sheets and take out each stamp and use it. For the scrub pad, I cut scotch brite to the size of my thin 1'' box and placed it inside. On one side, I added some sponge. Now, for the cleaning solution, I took a cup of water, added 5 tbsp of baby shampoo and poured it in the box. You can also add some glycerine. Thats it! My scrub pad is ready. After using, I just scrub my stamp on the pad and wipe it with a soft cloth and then it goes back in its place. Please feel free to ask anything about this.

Now to my card.

This is my first fall card with lots and lots of distressing. Since this is a long post, I will not go into much details. I enjoyed myself trying out this card.

Why do I always run short of time? Thats my problem! I,m doing so many things together that the most urgent things just slip out of my mind! I go to organize my craft room and end up making a card or while making cards I suddenly switch to organizing! I guess, too much of work is taking a toll on me.

Anyways, these are some photo frames with punch crafted flowers. I,ve made this on request of my niece who works with deprived children and women. The money of this sales will go to them. I,m also making several envelopes with quilled flowers and punch craft, but those pics, I,ll post later.

These two cards here have been made for Yvonne's Challenge using the faux letterpress technique. That girl surely knows how to get you hooked to something. Be it stamping, misting etc, all have been because of her.

BIRD IN THE WOODS

Hello to all!!! A new week has started with lots of new ideas and new products filling our craft room. Here everyone is on a wild shopping spree buying new clothes for the upcoming festive season. To stay tuned with the season, I too decided to try something new.

This is my first attempt to go off my type i.e to play with fall colours and vintage techniques.

So, Out came my new Tim Holtz stamp (It has been lying unused since last 6 months), and my new fabriano cardstocks-brown and black and a new sentiment from Inkadinkado. The woodgrain texture is another new effort using my fiskars texture plates in the CB and lots of distressing with wild Honey, vintage photo and color box-brown. On the stamped image, I,ve used Tea Dye and Forest Moss with a touch of Wild Honey. The image is highlighted with black embossing pen at a few places.

PHEW!!!! I,ve never played with so many colours at one go.

Other supplies are MS punch-Doiley Lace and jute twine from stash. Spellbinders-ovals.

A Very HAPPY KARWA CHAUTH to all my SAHM friends!!!!

For my international friends, Karwa Chauth is a festival celebrated by married Hindu ladies all over the world. On this day, the wife keeps a fast for the husband, praying for his long life and good health. She will not eat anything for the whole day and at night after seeing the moon, takes the first sip of water from her husband's hand!!! So Romantic!!!!! The lady dresses up very nicely decking in beautiful sarees and adorned with jewellery, she puts henna on her hand. All the ladies sing and dance and its a sight to be seen when all of them in a family offer their prayers at night. Sometimes, even husbands fast with their wives!!!!! But thats just out of love!!!!

Now, to some craft talk.

This card is made with lots of affection cos, I specially love this Tilda with butterfly. The flowers are punch crafted and the PP is from Echo park and fabriano. Distressing is done with wild honey distress inks. I,ve used spellbinders for the frame and CB corner dies for the corners. The brown lace is a Marianne's Creatables Dies. These are great to work with as they give intricate cutting and embossing in one go. The tida is coloured with steadler colour pencils with Pie Lane glitter balls on her hair. I,ve added some pearls and shimmer and the yellow gingham ribbon if from my stash.

Hi, A VERY HAPPY VIJAYA DASHAMI TO ALL MY FRIENDS!!!!

This is a very quick post as my link is playing hide and seek since last three days. I really wanted to to play along Yvonne's challenge as I learn a new technique through her challenges . Block stamping is something that was really hard to get at least for me. I,ve lost count as to how many card stock I,ve wasted before I got it right! And that too with Juhi's help who suggested that I try it on fabriano cardstock. And so I decided to give this card a patchwork effect with different shades of blue distress inks and various stamp designs. Some faux stitching and I hope that I,ve got the look.

Hello everyone!!

I wish all my friends a very Happy Navratri!! For my international friends, Navratri is a nine day festival celebrated all over India when Goddess Durga is worshipped with in all the Hindu households. People fast for nine days and there is a frenzy in the air. There is dance, music and lot of happy excitement that fill the atmosphere. In West Bengal, the Durga Puja (worship) is celebrated for five days and beautiful pandals with life size images of the Goddess adorn the whole city. The artmanship of the statues and the pandals is so beautiful that at times you will not be able to say what is fake and what is real. This is a festival to celebrate the triumph of good over evil!

So let us all kill the negative feelings within us and let positivity rule.

Now on to some crafting!!! Lately, I ve found card making to be very the

rapeutic! A great stress buster. Specially for me, it works wonders. And if the results are as desired then it adds a lot to my confidence.

This is one such card.

I love this colour combination as these sunny colours really perks up my spirit. When I think of the colour yellow, the first flower that comes to my mind are daisies and so I had to add them here. I,m following the colour scheme from CR84FN39 here and the photo inspirations at cupcake challenge.

Hi, I thank all my friends who are supporting in my problem of my cards being hacked on facebook by a girl called Pallavi Chamaria. You have to be her friend to see her work.

This is a card esp made for Artful Delight's Birthday Bash blog hop Day 3 where the colour combo is Kraft, pink and white.

I,ve played with my new stamps from hero arts-magical backgrounds and stampendous-agapanthus cluster. The sentiments are from fiskars and the embossed background is CB moroccan screen. I,ve fallen in love with these stamps.

This also goes for the day 2 of the same blog hop where I have made a card, used a button and the colour light pink.

ALTERED BOX

Hello !

I,ve wanted to do this since along time was so short of time that I kept postponing it. This box's future was written, the moment it came into my hands today, gave it a new look. Lots of recycling and used stuff goes into it's making. It is also my first attempt to make a shabby chic project. Now chic or not but shabby it is for sure!! LOL. There is a second box also but that has to wait.

This box will hold all my precious keepsakes! Those stupid romantic things, small notes and bits of this and that. A totally recycled project, I love the new look. I,ve painted the inside with acrylic colours.

First I wrapped the whole box in a very old newspaper and the distressed it with inks-vintage photo, forest moss and aged mahogany.

Then some fussy cutting of CTMH paper and stuck it on the box. Highlighted it with paint and marker.

All the decoration that you see are all kept from gift wrappings or picked up from my tailor's shop.

Sentiments are from Fiskars.

Hi friends!

As usual this week also flew by with not a minute to rest. But one good news is that I won a digital scrapbooking software on Mansi's Blog! Now, this I really needed cos I,m in the process of making a memento photo book for my DH who celebrated their re-union in Bangalore in MSRIT after 21 years! What a blast he had! And now those books will be given to 30 people who were present! So thats lot of hard work.

I went on a card making spree last night and came up with four cards!! Now thats quite a feat! But all these are one layer cards and I made them for the wee memories challenge. But due to lack of time was unable to post it and the challenge ended! Well, thats how life is! Oppurtunities come once and we should not waste a moment in using them. A lesson well learnt!Anyways, I,m still entering them for another challenge at Wee Memories where we have to make cards without patterned papers. So these fit here also.

Lot of stamping, embossing, distressing and colouring have gone into these. I esp like the white

card with the sheena douglas stamp of poppies. Which one do you like the best? And mind you! making these were not easy as you all know that CAS is not my style. But I thoroughly enjoyed making them.

Hi,Friends!!After a long time, I finally managed to come out of blues and pinks and tried the purple scheme. This card has lot of new things-New paper mania PP, my new Magnolia stamp and a new style of card fold. All the flowers are made with punch craft. HI FOLKS!!!!

I wish I had a few more hands and hours in my life. This week and the previous one and the one before that (Its going on!!!) has been BACK BREAKING!!!! I made two albums some 16 cards, two explosion box cards, decorated 10 coin boxes and a baby shower gift and several envelopes!!!! And I,m still surviving!!! LOL!

Hello!!!!

Another week has begun and God knows what new creative ideas will take shape. I know that cardmaking can be very addictive. I try to steal a few moments from my very busy life to create at least one card. And with so many tempting challenges out there,

I get very frustrated when I,m unable to find time to make one.

Now , this card here is certainly not my style. Its a little towards CAS but the flower is not simple at all. It is made with scalloped circle punch of various sizes and then each circle is trimmed and shaped and all of them are layered together. It looks like a peony and I,m very happy the way it has turned out.

The paper is scored into a lattice pattern using the scor-pal and then a grungy type of distressing with a light pink shade(Do not remember the name) gives that shaded look.

The faux stitching is done with staedler stabilo red pen.

This card is based on the Moxie Fab world square sketch challenge-week-1 and there are three more sketches and that means more cards in the following week.

HELLO!!!

Nowadays, I,m so short of time that I wish I had more than 24 hrs in my day. Today, I made 8 cookie and treat boxes. All samples to go for a bakery shop in my area and about 8 gift money envelopes. And then when I thought I,m done for the day, just loitering through all the blogs as TP , I suddenly realised that tomorrow is the last day for the Lessology DT Challenge.

Now this is one blog where the best of best crafters will inspire us with their creations and Yvonne being my favourite, I had decided to play along. Although, amongst,

such taleneted lot, I hardly stand a chance, but getting comments from them will also be a treat.

So, off I went hunting for used items fit for recycle and I collected these!!!!

I have altered the cornflakes box, the tea sachet box and the price tag from my new dress into gift bag and a cookie/chocolate box. Note the doiey and the center flower has been cut on the Sd Machine . The picture quality is not very good as they have been taken with mobile phone camera. My Digi Cam had to be recharged fully and I did not have patience to wait. I have given a heavy look to the box and to balance it, the cookie box has been given a simple look. And I have just used half the tag. Now after doing this, I,m convinced that we can alter our waste boxes and bags and give them a new look altogether.

Hello !!!

This is my second explosion box card and this is specially made for someone's birthday. These boxes are fun to make and lots can be done to it! A very versatile project and the best thing is that it can be used as a gift box also.

I,ve made a cake inside this box and lots of distressing, embossing and layering has gone into it.

The flowers are handmade by me and all the stamps are from very own cards and scraps.

On Friday, I,m the happiest person cos on the next day, I do not have to get up early for my school going kids and I can laze around till late morning! Also two days of holidays means more crafting!

Also this time we will be celebrating Janamashtami on Monday! So my whole of Sunday will go in decoration!

For my international friends, Janamashtami is celebrated as the birthday of Lord Krishna and we make a wide variety of sweets and decorate the house. And at 12 midnight, the time when he was born, everyone prays and sings and offers sweets to the God!

Hi Folks! Today's day has been very eventful as I got two gifts from fellow bloggers. First I won The MS punch in Romina's Candy and secondly, I got Aditya Gupta's Eiffel Tower as a swap and it was very sweet of him to send me a scrapbook kit along with it (I will upload the pics later) . I am also a random winner at the Moxi Fab World! MY GOD! I,m feeling giddy with joy!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now, on to my new project.

I,m really thrilled after making this. It's an explosion box card made for a to-be- mother

and almost the whole of afternoon went into making this.

FRIENDSHIP CARD.

Card Making is a great stress buster! I realized this today when amidst lots of work and Rakhi preparations for tomorrow I made this card and felt totally relaxed!

I have used the colour combo at PDCC 94 and it is specially made for my daughter who wants to give it to her best friend.

Lots of distressing and heat embossing goes into it. I created my own PP with stamping and distressing.

Hello to all! Its been a long time that I,ve been away from blogland but that does not mean that I am away from crafting too! In fact, lots of cards and mini scrapbooks took up all the time. And I was also busy arranging my craft room which looks as if it has been hit by a tornado

EVERYTIME!!! I wish that one morning I open my eyes and find all my stuff arranged beautiful! WHAT A WISHFUL THINKING!!!!!LOLLL!!!!!

I was requested by the INNERWHEEL CLUB of kolkata Mahanagar to give a demo of tray decoration on the 10th of August.

Here is a peek into a cute lil mini album I made for a very dear friend of mine! I hope she likes it. Mini albums are a great way to use your stash and scraps and they are really fun and quick to make. I guess I,m getting addicted to them.

One sad news also! I broke my fiskars sunburst border punch and was in depression for full one day. And to top it my MS deco shells border punch has stopped punching! I guess its sharpness has gone. Can anyone suggest how to rectify it?

First, let me present my last project as GDT in the C.R.A.F.T challenge, where this week's challenge is 'fairytales'. I've tried to create a 3D fairy in this card and out of all the images , I chose the most difficult one and GOSH! What a tough time I had cutting the various parts. But I liked the effect. The tag is hand cut and the background is embossed in the CB.

LOOKING FOR LOST MOJO!

Some friends really make life relaxed and easy for you and Romina is certainly one of them! This girl really knows how to perk one up and in my difficult times, have provided me with a certain level of comfort zone. These two cards are made on her demand as I mentioned it to her that I was not getting my mojo. Since evening, I,ve must have wasted 6-7 cardstocks and innumerable stamping efforts did not yield any result. And at last! I just quitted when she messaged me. And I was back on work, this time feeling high as it was a challenge for me to make something which I,ve never done before. Everyone knows, how detailed my cards are and now to make a card with one layer and only stamping and no frills attached! Gosh! That was difficult! But nevertheless anything for her! So I have made these two with stamps all from my own creation and distress inks. Since, I,m not good at taking pics, hope the quality will be excused!

This has been a super hectic week and I,m at the point of a breakdown. It has been raining non-stop and all the family members are down with illness. I too was in bed with

HI!!!!
Life is drowned in rains as God is extra kind and is continuously showering us and so what do we have? wet clothes all over, dripping umbrellas, sneezing kids and above all staff being absent! Amidst all this, DH is not well, social functions are too many and orders are not getting made on time! How can one remain sane? But thanks to crafting, even making a small tag can be real stress reliever.

MAGNOLIA !!!!

Hi, life nowadays is at its peak of frustration. WHY? The weather is lousy-raining and raining endlessly! the health of family members along with mine is on downward track, all the gadgets of the house-mixer, toaster, washing machine, iron, microwave, oven (PHEW) have all decided to declare war against the human race and so at present, I,m living in stone age. (LOL)

So, in this chaos what comes to recuse to release all this stress. Cardmaking!

Yes! I made this card using my magnolia stamps. I stamped the image with tea dye distress ink and then coloured it with my steadler water colour pencils. Then I highlighted it with black stablo fine tip marker. Rest, I used MS border punches-lattice heart, paper mania PP, the ribbon is stitched by my local tailor from glass organza cloth. There is a story behind it. My elder sister who owns a boutique discarded meters of colourful glass organza tissue. I picked them up and gave it to my tailor who stitched both the sides for RS. 250. And yes, the circle sentiments are a pick from singapore craft store--Hand Made With Love. The flowers are mulberry paper flowers from ChatuChak local weekend market-Bangkok. The small pink flowers on the side are made by me. So, thats it! Here is my card.

Embossin' All The Way !!

Happy Monday! Hope you all had a good weekend.

Its been raining crazy in Kolkata and all my papers have become damp due to the weather. The punches are not working properly and with deep neck in orders and classes and my health problems, life has become super frustrating. To top all this, my sd blade stopped functioning and desperately, I started to look for one as it was URGENT for me! And guess who recued me. Our very own, model architecture--Aditya Gupta. It was really nice of him tp part with one blade and I shall forever be thankful to him.

Now this card I would call a real Stressbuster. In goes into it, lots of embossing both wet and dry and also punch crafted flowers. The weather is taking a toll on me so, I guess I will be very short.

HI! Another twister from me for my month long celebration. Well, we all are addicted to crafting like anything. To me it is my world. And my craft tools are more dear to me than my diamonds. I am very possessive about them and no one except ME is allowed to TOUCH THEM!

I might sound mean but the effort that is taken to procure each one of them , makes them all very close to my heart.

WE ALL LOVE CRAFT SUPPLIES AND WANT THEM ENDLESSLY! A GREEDY LOT WE ARE! But then how well do we know are crafty supplies?

This is just a fun game where I have a huge jigsaw of craft supplies that has around 30 or more pics of some famous craft tools and personalities. Another hectic week is coming to an end and suddenly I realised that on 2nd June, I will complete one year of my entry into the blog world! And what a year it has been! What with my mail and blog hacked and then a second attempt to redo all!!! Believe me! I still remember that day when I could not open my dashboard and my mail. PHEW!!!!! Finally I was able to make a card with heat embossing! And that too, on time! Yes, I,m talking of Karuna's heat embossing challenge. With my lost mojo and lot of things on head, it simply slipped out of my mind. I hope it is good enough for I really had a trying time making this.

I messed up 4 card stocks and stamped and sprinkled but that desired effect was missing. At last this card was finally made. I,ve stamped the background with basic grey-swirl stamp with broken china distress ink. The black flower is my own from my cards and scraps. I stamped it with unity black ink and then used clear embossing powder.Then a little fussy cutting to make the two embellishment flowers. The sentiments are my own and the label and all are also heat embossed. The swirl is from a swap and the blings are from local market.

Hi, This week has been super hectic and horribly hot. The heat is taking a toll on me and the real stress buster was this card that made as GDT for our very own Indian craft room Challenge 3.

Here is the photo inspiration and what a treasure of diverse elements it has! Sure gives wings to one's creativity.

Well, I picked up the colour combo orange and blue, butterflies and those bright lights as banners. I guess love is all over this pic so my sentiment is love from Kaiser kraft.

The flowers are all handmade. There is corn flower in the center with two blue fringed flowers at the sides followed by punch craft sun flowers. The stamping on the background is done with my own stamp from cards and scraps with distress inks and the border punch is from fiskars.

I,ve heat embossed the circle sentiment and stamped two butterflies with my distress inks on blue and orange card stock and then used clear embossing powder.Did Try making one on vellun but still got to learn a lot. I guess I have to revisit Tejal's blog again and again!!(LOL)

Blessed are those people in the world who continue to bask in the shelter of their mother's love. A LOVE SO PURE AND UNCONDITIONAL! Her day begins with her family and ends thinking about them and wishing them well. Let us all do a little extra not only on mother's day but everyday to bring a smile on HER face.

My mom has given me everything that I ever asked for. NOne of my problems are solved without her help. She is always there for me and has been encouraging me since I was a child.Even a silly scribbling got words of praise. She is almost 70 now, but she is full of life(her energy and enthu puts me to shame at times) and never sits idle. She has taught me to be strong and hopeful in all situations. Whatever I,m today, its because of her.I wish I could be as good to my children as she has been to us and I know that even if I try,I can come even close to her.

Here is a card dedicated to my mom.

This is an easel card and the poppies are digi images collected from free colouring pages. Supplies used are: Fabriano Bianco card stock, PP ,MS border punches, Spellbinders-scalloped ovals, MS monarch butterfly punch, Memento inks-rhubarb stalk and colouring by staedler colour pencils. CB embossing and then heat embossed the design.

A SILVER ANNIVERSARY CARD

Hi, Its been a long time since I posted something new. I was busy working on lot of special anniversary cards and managed to take pics of only this one. So here it is for you all. After a long time, I used my silhouette sd and took out some fabulous cut outs. The love frame,the number 25 and the butterflies are from sd. The PP is from Australia and the sentiments are from the computer. MS punch, distress inks and finally those flowers. Due to lack of time , I used ready flowers and added glitter to them. The Archival stamp pad platinum is used over the frame and the butterflies to add a silver sheen . In the inside I,ve used the spellbinders border, fiskars treading water punch. The card was put in soft embossed folded envelope.

Hi, First things First. My Special Card made it to the Top 5 at the cup cake craft challenge.

This week has been a hectic one as I,m busy organising my craft stuff. I,m really bad at this and soon I know I,ll have a breakdown. Amidst all this chaos, I managed to make a card and followed the ICR Challenge for this. All the flowers are handmade by me. I tried to give them the look of Prima flowers. Do not know how well I succeeded! A VERY SPECIAL CARD

This card is very special to me cos, I,ve really worked hard on it. Cuttlebug, silhouette, distressing, punch craft all have gone into making this card. This is made for 50th anniversary on request of someone very close to me. It is my version of a step card and I,ve given the look of desk top stationary. The message is put as a seperate card. One can also use it as a calender by putting every months card on it.

Hi, I,m back from a long vacation to Singapore and Bangkok and had a lovely time out there. Singapore is beautiful and every nook and corner is so clean and beautiful. Also did lots of craft shopping. So if any of you need details about shopping, you know whom to contact. I can guide you very well. But in the mean time, I missed out on lot of things in the blog world. I was feeling quite lost after coming back and my mojo was nowhere to be seen. But finally , I,m back on the track and here is my first card after coming back. This is done using all my new stamps and the main sentiment is from my store cards n scraps. I always wanted to use masking and stamping together, but never tried it. But now I,ve used three different types of stamps to create the background(always wanted but never tried) and then some double shading on the stamps. so you see , everything is new on this card. Right from stamps, to colour, sentiments and those tiny brads.

It seems that after love there are butterflies in the air everywhere. The blogging world is full of these fluttering beauties! So I too made one. And yes! I finally got My silhouette sd machine. It is a wonderful and cuts the most intricate designs. So this is my very first card using the wonder tool. This is made for the butterfly blog linky party. The butterflies and the swirl frame are cut in the SD and then lots of glitter is used. Other supplies are Computer generated PP, spellbinders scalloped circles, sentiments from fiskars. MS double loop punch, felt ribbon and the embellishments are from a Rak sent by mandy from Yvonnes challenge.

This is a new project that i made for the first time. A DOOR HANGER! this is for the C.R.A.F.T challenge 93-doorhanger/digi coluring. A TUTORIAL AND A CHALLENGE

Hi Girls! Finally I,ve managed to post a tutorial on punch craft Roses. All of you have been waiting for this and I hope this helps cos, I,m bad at taking Pics. So in the process if you do not understand anything, kindly drop me a mail so that I can assist you.

1. Things Required: A foam pad/soft leather pad, punches-punch bunch-scalloped heart(medium), birch leaf and daisy, fevicol, silicon glue, tweezer, craft paper, toothpick, embossing tool. pink ink pad and some sponge.(I hope I,ve covered all)

2. Punch out 8+5+3+1 hearts from the white paper and 6 leaves with the birch leaf and 1 daisy from the green paper.

3. Using the sponge, colour the hearts giving it a shaded effect. You can use a single colour also.

4.Then with the toothpick roll the scalloped part on the right to the outside opposite to the shaded side. repeat with the other side. then place the heart shaded side up and with embossing tool make a mark from the middle to the pointed tip at the bottom. Repeat with all the hearts.

5.Except the last 1 heart. Roll it around the toothpick as shown to make the centre. cut a small part from the bottom.

6. Then place the daisy on the pad and give a soft cup shape. Pick one heart with the tweezer and dip the bottom in glue and paste it on one petal of daisy. Continue till you use the 8 hearts.

7. Now cut the bottom of the remaining hearts.

8. Cup your palm and hold the rose in it. Then pick the center and dip the end in silicon glue and put in the center of the flower. Silicon glue helps the petals to remain straight but you have to be quick as it dries very fast.

9. Then pick each heart and dip in silicon and continue to build layers around the center offsetting the petals . Cup the rose a little to hold the petals together. Your flower is ready.

10. Now using the stick, make veins on the leaves and twitch it a little to give a little character to the leaves. Cut a thin strip and attach the leaves as shown.

11. Attach the rose in the center of the leaves.

And Now I used this rose on this card.

A NEW CARD

Hi, card making is in the air and everyone seems to be in it. Guess my mojo is back, so came up with this purple card and made it monochromatic with a bit of white. The sentiments are my own creation(cards and scraps) and used spellbinders scalloped ovals and some pp with purple shades. The flowers are result of punch craft and the distressing on the flowers, ribbon and oval is done by memento ink-sweet plum. Since I did not have a purple shade of ribbon , I distressed a cream one and got wonderful result. I also added some 3d glitter on flowers for more classy look. And MS decoshells is used for the border.

Hi, there has been a long gap. And as I mentioned earlier, my mojo's on break, it seems I,m finally gettting it back. But First let me thank Mansi for this beautiful card. And then sudha also sent me this lovely card with little sweet goodies. I,m thrilled girls! thanks a lot.

And now you all are invited to visit my little animal kingdom that I have made. I,ve been working on it since a few days and finally completed it. Since I love animals a lot(have a dog, birds and fish) this card has my heart in it. So without much ado let the journey begin!

As you can see, there are flowers blooming all around as spring has finally arrived. All the animals are in happy mood. Birds are singing and even the angry lion is in all smiles. Otherwise why would the deer and little bunny stand so close to him. The Lion king is telling a story that all the creatures great and small are God's wonderful creations and we should live and let live. Then only the world will be a beautiful place to live in. Do You see the little monkey? He too, is in a playful mood! The butterflies are fluttering by and all creatures great and small are living in perfect harmony. I hope you all enjoyed your visit!

So, now to the basics. This is again a tri shutter fold card. All the images are downloaded from the computer, resized and then water coloured. I took a lot of time in cutting these intricate figures. The flowers and leaves are result of punch craft. The branches and grasses are hand drawn and then coloured and cut.A little distressing and the sentiments say it all. I have taken various pic of this card as I want you to see how happy each creature is.

Hi, my mojo is down these days and I,ve been trying to recharge it. Lets hope that I come up with more new work next week.

For let me share two good news with you. My card made it to the top 3 in the CRAFT challenge and a winner in the Pixie Dust Studio ch- valentine. This is really great for me.

Now for the OUTLAWZ PARTY. These two CAS card are exclusively for the outlawz challenge. Nothing much fancy about them. But I still find CAS cards difficult to make! This is the inspiration we had to follow as the theme of the party is wild west.

Hi, This has been a hectic week with many birthdays and many weddings all thrown in together. So without much details, just check these cards out. CAS CARD

After making those detailed cards, I found CAS card a real challenge. Its surprising that something which can be made so quickly, I actually took 1 hour to make. Everytime I came up with an idea, I thought something was amiss. So after much fuss, I made this .Now, I really don't know if it fits the CAS category. But then, I liked this colour combo. I,ve used Victoria CB folder and distress it with brown ink and used fiskars treading waters border punch on the sides. The sentiments are from spardha and the flower- Well, That is made by spritzing water on several layers of scalloped circles, crushing them and drying them in the micro oven. The centre pearl is also made by be using glue dots and colouring them with pearl paint. The flourishes are handcut. so thats it!

MORE CUPCAKES AND A CARD...

These are the cupcakes that I made on my brother-in-law's demand. They are filled with gooey chocolate inside and has delicious butter cream on top. You all are familiar with MS butterfly punches on the top.

Now to some paper craft. I wanted to make a B/W card since a long time but it never got made. But finally, I made one based on card patterns sketch #100 and few things that have gone into making this are --computer generated PP, spellbinders fleur di lis dies, CB victoria embossed folder, sentiments from fiskars and heat embossing on toaster. The flowers are punch crafted and some pearls and crystals to finish it off.
