Gold Embossed card for ECD Blog

Hello to you all,

It's Anita here and I am super excited to share a card making technique with you that will help you make amazing backgrounds for your projects. I have used the beautiful flowers from the Spring Bloom set.

For my card I have used teal flowers and golden hues.
Here are the steps to make this card: Step 1 - Apply ink to a 4.75 " x 6.75" piece of cardstock using Evergreen Bough Distress Ink. Step 2 - Stamp the flower image all over the card using Versamark ink, cover ink with  gold embossing powder and heat set.

Step 3 - Spray water from a distance and heat set with the heat tool to get the spritzed effect.

Step 4 - Layer the decorated panel to a slightly larger piece of black card stock and then onto a folded gold card base.
Step 5 - Stamp sentiment onto a strip of black card stock using VersaMark ink and white embossing powder. Layer the black card stock onto a wider vellum layer and adhere close to the bottom of the card.
Step 6 - Create a rectangle frame using the Fitted Rectangles from gold card stock, adhere to card so that it frames the sentiment.
Step 7 -Die cut two butterflies using the Dancing Butterflies die set from gold card stock. Add some golden threads to the card and then adhere the butterflies on top of the threads.
