Introducing the Amazing Paper Grace Delicate Impressions Collection

We’re excited to introduce another Glimmer Hot Foil collection! The Delicate Impressions Collection has five sets of Glimmer Hot Foil Plates. The fifth set, Heart Melt Sentiments, has four unique phrases with matching dies. The other four sets are designed to create borders and accents that can be used on cards from A2 to 5 x 7-inches. Each elegant motif can be layered with itself or mix with others in the same collection or beyond.

Glimmer Hot Foil Plates are metal plates used in the Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil System to transfer foil to paper through a combination of heat and pressure.  Roll the Glimmer machine base through your die cut machine to deliver its beautiful design. Refer to Compatibility Charts on Spellbinders' website, to see if your machine is a match.

Our Creative Team members will showcase their creations made with the Delicate Impressions Collection today. For those of you who enjoy watercolors, we are using Jane Davenport Watercolors to highlight our projects. See if you can identify what techniques are being used!

Becca Feeken sent over these stunning plates and dies for me to try.

Each of our Creative Team members will show you their take on cards made with a Collection.

 My Projects For Today

Here is what the die looks like:

For my card, I have chosen the Sweet Border Glimmer Hot Foil Plate and with my Glimmer Hot Foil machine and silver glimmer Foil, I added a foiled floral bloom on a strip of white card stock.

The blooms looked so pretty that I decided to add colours to them and here I used the colours Eye Shadow and Butterfly from the  JD-042 Watercolors Set Brights ArtEssentials by Jane Davenport . This is the first time that I have used these colours and I loved the vibrant creamy colours. They have added a new look to the foiled flowers.

For my label cut from the  S4-399 Candlewick Rectangle etched dies, I also added some shades of blue.

Then, I fussy cut around the border blooms. I created a card panel with gold card card stock and the large rectangle die cut from the S4-399 and added this border on the card base. I created another smaller card panel with the small rectangle die cut from the same collection. Notice how I have added colours on the white background to pop up the sentiments that have been foiled using the GLP-218 Heart Melt Sentiments Glimmer Hot Foil plate and die set.
I finished the card by adding hand cut flowers and ribbon bows.

My second project is a Pillow Shaped candy box.

To make this box, I used a free template of pillow box and simple used it to cut on dark blue card stock. I created a centre border with the Sweet Blooms Border Glimmer hot foil plate and Silver foil on my Glimmer Hot Foil Machine.
I used the Bright shades of blue from the Jane Davenport bright water colour set to add some highlights along the border and also to create a small pretty tag to go along with this box.

You can fill this box with gifts like a tie, chocolates or even a small bottle of perfume.

This is a perfect gift set for a friend and the card matches very well with the candy box.

Designer Tip: I have used this Sweet border in two ways-one with colours and fussy cutting and one without colours. This is such a versatile border, that you can do many possibilities with this.
