Magical Unicorn cards with Dress My craft products

Hello Friends!!!

This is Anita here with another post full of super cute projects. It's the day for the Magical Unicorn and I have three pretty cards made with this amazing collection.

Unicorns are a favorite with everyone and if you have three different cutie unicorns on your table, then all you do is smile . I am simply in love with this paper pack . The beautiful rainbow designs, clouds and castle and the dancing baby unicorns will steal your heart for sure .
The papers are sturdy and smooth to touch making them perfect for albums, money wraps and cards .
If you want to make albums with this paper pack , then follow my post here , where I have used the Little Miracle baby themed paper pack .

Today I have three cards that are not only good to look but are so easy that they make really good creative pass time especially for children . So let your kids use this pack and the die cuts to make the Magical Unicorn cards this summer vacation.

Here are my cards .

For this card, I have used the pattern paper as background. I used some die cut clouds in card stock and vellum and added the ready die cuts . I also added some rainbow glitter powder and some DMC sequins here . Can you see the sparkling effect here ???

Here I have taken a die cut background on the colourful rainbow paper. Then just added the die cut pieces to finish it . You can make them in 10 minutes !!!!!

This is my favorite as I love making Shaker cards . I simple created a Shaker window using half circle die. I added a banner die cut and set it all agsinst the pink pattern paper card base . This looks so pretty !!!. I finished it with some sparkle rainbow glitter .

Catherine Pooler Inks----Projects and a Review

This is Anita here and welcome all to the Crafters Corner blog.

Another wonderful creative month has gone by and the full month has been creatively active with a range of beautiful projects from the design team.
I close this month with my long awaited post  on Catherine Pooler Inks.
These were brought in the store a couple of months back and have got fantastic response from crafters all over India.
CP inks are a delight for all stampers and their unique feature will make them your favourite too.
So let me go in more details about these inks.
Catherine Pooler Designs Inks are premium dye inks. This dye is non-permanent.

What is great about these inks and why you should have them .
Color coordination will be a snap!  The first collection, the Party Collection is made up of all vibrant, saturated colors that will go together perfectly.  No more guessing which color goes with which!
No more splotchy images!  Two or three gentle LOVE TAPS are all you need to get full coverage on your stamp which transfers beautifully to your cardstock.
No more muddy, dirty stamped images when residue from a dark ink gets picked up by a light color!

Salient Features of CP Inks
1. The ink pads are wonderfully saturated and so will last for a longer period of time and are hence good value for money.
2. The ink pad has a foam pad instead of a felt pd and so just a gentle tab is enough to load your stamp with colour thus saving a lot of wastage of ink.
3. The inks have both vibrant and soft shades making it easier to choose and combine colours.
4. It gives a crisp and non splotchy image .
5. The CP inks are slow drying so can be used for heat embossing too.
6. These inks are water friendly and so can give beautiful results with water colour.
7. Perfect for distressing, the CP ink colours blend uniformly well with  each other.

There are two types of collection available right now.

The Spa collection--These shades are more subtle in tone.

The Party Collection--These are vibrant colors.

The Midnight ink is permanent and archival and also water resistant. This is also copic friendly and will no bleed while colouring with copic markers or even water based markers.

CP inks in comparison with other inks

See this video here to clear all doubts

Now let us see some projects made with CP inks.

You can shop for Catherine Pooler Ink pads here.

So do try these inks and believe me!!! you will be too happy to have them.
Stay tuned with Crafters Corner for a huge range of amazing craft supplies all under one roof. Thanks for stopping by and happy crafting !!!!

Hello Dear Friends !!!!!

I hope you all are enjoying yourself creating wonderful projects on your craft table. I am here with my weekly wednesday post and once again, I bring to you another beautiful die released last week during CHA. Cheery Lynn has some awesome New release Dies and throughtout this month we will feature projects with these dies. Today my card shows the new die--ROSE AND LEAVES (set of 3) -B532. Its a pretty simple card and here I have created the background using the rose die and then popping up the flower on the front at the top and bottom by colouring it with copics. The diecut is further enhanced by stamping rose images from Wplus9 . So what I want to convey is that we can create lovely backdrops for our cards using the dies.

The front panel has been cut using the A2 FRAMES RECTANGULAR CLASSIC SET OF 7-CM5
this is a very versatile die compatible with many stacker dies and doily dies.

Now the current challenge at the blog is SNOWFLAKES... So do stop by for a moment and send in your entries. Till then.. see you next wednesday.....Have a good day!!!!

A big hello to all....
Its Anita here for weekly wednesday post. Once again , I'm bringing to you a new release die from Cheery Lynn. This month, a whole new range of intricate dies have been released and yes !!! they are so versatile.
The doily dies are divided into two parts and can be mix and matched and even used with other dies.
For my card here , I cut out a hinged front from the Heart French Flair Boutique stacker frames from black card stock. I cut another piece in white and layered it inside the card after distressing it with evergreen bough distress ink. Then I cut medium piece from the second stacker frame and layered in the front again .  This I kept white in order to high light the new doily die. Then I cut a circle in black and top of the new circle doily. On this , I placed the smallest part of the stacker frame. Then I put the second centre portion of the doily.  This I distressed with Ever green bough  Here , I have put some pearls to decorate the centre.
The flowers are cut and made from the Judy's Blooms die. I have coloured the flowers and leaves from Distress inks.
So here is my hinged card using the new doily-Lords and Commons doily set

Lords and Commons Doily (set of 2)

HELLO  !!!
My dear friends, I am  Anita with my favourite cheery lynn dies this wednesday. I,m so thrilled because this week we are asking you to play with die cut flowers. Isn't that fabulous !! Now that you all know mw, You can very well guess, why this is my favourite, I love playing with wide range of flower dies with Cheery Lynn and here I will show how one single die can be used to create a variety of flowers. Here I have used the Rose die to create two types of blossoms instead of using it to make the rose. And of course , there is the shasta daisy strip die, which I have used to create a zinnia type of flower instead of regular daisy. The point I want to make is that you can use your imagination to make numerous flowers from one single die. Now here is my card, with all the supplies listed below.

Large Rose B155
Shasta Daisy B310
Big leaves from Build a flower #3
Flourish Leaf Strip B178
Heart to Heart Doily DL 106
Horizon square boutique stqcker frames DL 253
Clock w/angel wing (steampunk series) B357
heat embossed the edges with stampendous embossing enamel powder
stamps frpm Penny black and Justrite
Inks-versfine onyx black, Distress markers, Bundled Sage

Now to our challenge----DIE CUT FLOWERS, You can play along this challenge and win for yourself a 20 $ shopping spree. So take out your cheey lynn flower dies and play along.

Hello friends,
I ,m back again with my weekly Wednesday project. And this week I have a totally different project for you....something that is not my style but I am so much in awe of these cards that I could not save myself from making one. This project does not have handmade flowers. Here the focus is mainly on the clever use of die cuts. Here I have manipulated the die cuts to give a different look to this card. And the base is the favourite stacker dies one top of other to give a 3d look. I have cut the Fiona's magic mirror to place it on the top and bottom. The two flourishes are place on either side and I have again cut the doily into two and used as a mat for the stamped image. The stamped image has been highlighted using glossy accents and glitter.

Stamp is from penny black
Distress inks

Challenges : stamping sensation,  penny black and more
This week we have a summer theme challenge at the cheery Lynn blog. Do stop by over there for a moment.
I hope you liked my work. Will see you again next week. Till then ......goodbye!!
