April Birthday Release from Frantic Stamper

Hi to all,

It is a super release by Frantic Stamper this April. The Birthday theme collection is just perfect to create a wide range of projects like cards, tags, bookmarks and so on. The collection has the perfect stamps, dies and stencils to create birthday and even general cards.

You can see the entire collection here.

I have some pretty simple cards to show you today.

For this card, I cut a die cut from the Tri panel card in white card stock distressed it with three pastel shades of distress oxide inks. I then distressed a background on white card stock to place at the back of the card panel. I added some shaker elements and covered with OHP sheet . On the top I added diecuts, cut in pattern paper from Gift Box die set. I finished the card using sentiments from Tiny Tags sentiments clear stamp.

This card is too easy and fun to make. I have used water colour paper to stamp the dripping colour effect using Catherine Pooler inks and the clear stamp Artful Mess. After that I took a paint brush and add droplets of water on the colours to get the dripping effect.
The sentiment is from the die-Typewriter birthday words.

This card has the background die-Create a background strips. I distressed the diecut panel with Peacock feathers distress oxide inks and added strips of various size. On the top I stamped some splotches of paint from the clear stamp- Artful Mess.
Finally I added shaded die cuts as sentiments from Happy Birthday Candles and Typewriter birthday words on the die cut Stitched label.

The entire range is just awesome. So do hop on to the store to buy our favourite one.
Have a good day and happy crafting!!!

My first card is has a colour scheme of ivory and gold which happens to be my favourite too.  have used the  Shapeabilities Cannetille Rectangle Etched Dies and die cut them in ivory and gold paper. I them layered them as shown . I have also used my scoring board to add score lines at the card base and also in the centre insert.
The beautiful white flowers are made with Shapeabilities Cinch and Go V Etched Dies. I added some brown ink in the centre with my sponge dauber and layered two big and one medium flower after I embossed them a lottle. Then some gold prills were added to finish the flowers.
I layered the flowers and leaves along with gold thread bunch. The sentiment tags are from Becca's previous collection  Amazing Paper Grace Vintage Elegance  Graceful Tiny Tag Stamp and Die Set
The Spellbinders Platinum machine was used to give these beautiful die cuts in fast and easy way. Even the intricate detailed dies can be cut like butter in this machine.

My second card has a combination of Blue and ivory.  For  this card , I have used pearlescent blue paper. I cut the die cuts from Shapeabilities Infinity Link Border Etched Dies  and the label with sentiment is from Shapeabilities Antiquities Square Etched Dies . The flowers are made from

New Collections Inspiration Blog Hop + Giveaway --Spellbinders

Hello Friends,

Welcome to the December 19th Spellbinders Blog Hop.

I am super excited to be a part of the NEW COLLECTIONS INSPIRATION BLOG HOP

This blog hop brings together amazing crafters and is a wonderful way to have a panorama of projects all at a time and also gives an opportunity to enhance one's creative skills.

Spellbinders has been with me ever since I started crafting and now s an inseparable part of my craft room. Today, I am featuring the Exquisite Splendor by Marisa Job.  Marisa is a wonderful designer and more so she is a beautiful person with a warm heart and I regard her more as a friend. Having met her during CHA 2018 has been my happiest moment and I am always in awe of her.

I have three projects here that showcases the exquisite dies designed by Marisa.
If you have come from Erum Tasneem's blog, your next stop will be at Sharyn Sowell's blog. You must stop by each blog to complete the hop .The full blog hop list is given at end of my post.

I am a very addicted and passionate flower maker and flowers form an important part of my projects. I have used the Exquisite Splendor dies designed by Marisa Job -  Shapeabilities Square Medallion Tiles Etched Dies  , Shapeabilities Swirly Doily Etched Dies and the Shapeabilities Leaf Border Frame Etched .Dies . You can click on these to take you to the Spellbinders store where you can see other beautiful dies under the same category.
I have two cards and a box with tag to show the beauty of these dies. Together with these , I have used other dies designed by Marisa as they complimented well with my projects. You can find the entire range of dies designed by Marisa -Here

Here are my projects.

My first project highlights the spirit of Christmas. With the festive season just a few days away, I wanted to use the Swirly Doily die along with some white flowers made from the Textured Flowers die. To give a dimensional look to my die, I cut four of them in white card stock and adhered them together. Then I embossed the die cut using Gold embossing powder and heat setting it. The gold is little dull that really brightens the flowers with golden fillers.

My second card is a favourite of mine. I have used the Square Medallion Tiles die along with the Leaf Border Frame die to create a lacy background. Just the addition of these die cuts make it so easy to create beautiful background. On this, I made flowers using the Textured Flowers die and arranged them on the card. The base of the card is subtle shabby pattern paper.

So beautiful are the dies designed by Marisa, I could not stop myself from creating this tiny gift box and a matching tag. I used the More than Milk carton die also designed by Marisa and decorated it using tiles from the Leaf Border Frame die set.  Since this frame has rectangle design tiles , it was fairly easy to cut them and use as panels for decoration. See the matching die that looks so pretty with this. I kept the colours soft pastel to highlight the beautiful design.

So these are my three projects. I hope you will like these and also use the dies from Marisa to create exquisite projects. Also tell me which one is your favourite. I would love to hear from you. Do stop by each blog in the list given below to get loads of inspiration.

To celebrate this release, we are giving away a $50 gift certificate to one blog reader – selected from the comments across all of the blogs in the hop. Giveaway closes on Sunday, December 23rd at 11:59 pm EDT. The winner will be announced in the blog hop post the following Monday. Winner is responsible for shipping cost, duties and taxes.

Anniversary card for a special Couple

This is Anita here with another beautiful inspiration.
Anniversary is always a special occasion for everyone and we relive those happy happy moments when we met with our soul mate and tied the knot. Its a moment of celebration and happiness.

To mark this occasion, I have a special card for my lovely friend who will be celebrating her 25th Anniversary. She requested me to make a card for her and I had some lovely papers with golden hues perfect for the moment.

I have created many such cards that you can see here and here
For my card here, I have chosen the scrap

booking papers from the store along with the dies.
This card measures 7 inches by 7 inches and has lot of layers. The flowers have been made with foam and I have added some golden tuille to add some softness to the layers.

Don't you think tis looks so pretty!!! The yellow flowers goes very well with golden colour. It is so easy to make these flowers. Just use the Flower set # 5 to cut the flowers in yellow foam . Put each flower on hot iron till they curl up. Adhere two layers together and put the pollens in the center and your flower is ready.

See the full card here .

Here are all the supplies used for the card from the Craft passion store

Do create something beautiful with the Craft Passion products . I would love reading your comments . So please leave a word or two.
Thanks for stopping by.
