Instructions: Click here to view another photo of this card. To create the base, fold a card stock in half and place the outer mat die from Royal Elegance die set in a way that the top edge is outside the fold and will not cut through. Fold the top of the card in two so that it forms the base of the easel card. Cut another piece of mat die cut in white card stock and adhere to the folded card base. This forms the card front. Add a mat layer from paper collection on the base. Cut another mat die cut and distress it with Leaf green ink. Add to the card front. Add the royal elegance die cut frame on the card base. Cut another die cut from the set. Remove the middle part with Eyelet oval frame and adhere to the card front.

Stamp the Wisteria petals, leaves and bird images on deluxe flower shaping paper. Colour with Zig markers and Archival ink and shape the leaves and flowers on foam pad using golf tools.

Add prills on the flowers. Arrange the flowers and leaves on the card top and bottom. Add the floral bird image with foam tape.

Add oval frames cut from pattern paper using the oval die set. Add to the card base. Cut a sentiment from the paper collection and addto the card base on the oval frame to finish the card.

The other card is a shaped Easel card.
Here I have used the ornate bird cage to create my card.

ITS YOUR DAY

Blessed are those people in the world who continue to bask in the shelter of their mother's love. A LOVE SO PURE AND UNCONDITIONAL! Her day begins with her family and ends thinking about them and wishing them well. Let us all do a little extra not only on mother's day but everyday to bring a smile on HER face.
My mom has given me everything that I ever asked for. NOne of my problems are solved without her help. She is always there for me and has been encouraging me since I was a child.Even a silly scribbling got words of praise. She is almost 70 now, but she is full of life(her energy and enthu puts me to shame at times) and never sits idle. She has taught me to be strong and hopeful in all situations. Whatever I,m today, its because of her.I wish I could be as good to my children as she has been to us and I know that even if I try,I can come even close to her.

Here is a card dedicated to my mom.

This is an easel card and the poppies are digi images collected from free colouring pages. Supplies used are: Fabriano Bianco card stock, PP ,MS border punches, Spellbinders-scalloped ovals, MS monarch butterfly punch, Memento inks-rhubarb stalk and colouring by staedler colour pencils. CB embossing and then heat embossed the design.

This goes for the following challenges:

Excuse me for the poor picture quality.

Enjoy your weekend!!
