Rustic card with Lemoncraft photo inspiration

Card making is much fun and the new photo inspiration from Lemoncraft is too beautiful. It has all the elements-rustic, a little vintage, flowers and would make beautiful projects.

So I created a shabby chic card based on this .
Here is the photo inspiration followed by my card.

I have used Lemoncraft paper to make my card. Lot of flowers and some wood elements make it similar to the mood board.
I am entering my card for the September Challenge. Visit the Lemoncraft blog for all the details.

Have a good day and enjoy crafting.

The finished card base measures 7 inches by 5 inches. To make this card base, Cut white card stock to 10 inches by 7 inches. Score at 55 inch on the longer side and fold.

Add a mat layer from Designer paper pad choosing a light pink shaded background. This mat layer is ¼ inch shorter than the car base. Give the edges a torn look with the help of the scissors edge. Adhere to the card base using clear glue.

Stamp the leaf accents image on light green background paper using the leaf green ink. Cut this paper in three strips of 1 ½ inches  and 6 ¾ inches. Adhere to the mat layer leaving some gap in between. Adhere with foam tape.

Stamp the swinging squirrel image two times on white card stock.  Colour one of them with Distress inks using sponge dauber. Cut with coordinating die. Adhere this colored image on the second image using clear glue.

Cut two eyelet rectangle frames from the same die set and position as shown on the card front. Adhere with foam strips.

Stamp the flower image and the chestnut image several times on white card stock. Color with Distress inks and Archival inks. Cut with coordinating die. Shape the leaves in the leafy accents mold .
Give further shape using golf tools.

Stamp the flowers and color with Cactus flower ink. Cut with matching die. Mold and shape the flowers using the 3D shaping mold for the same flowers.
Shape the flowers further to give realistic look using the golf tools.

Layer two flowers together. Add pollens. Make nuts images n the same manner.
Make several  leaves using the Leafy accents set.

Arrange, the flowers, leaves and the nuts on the card. Adhere with clear glue. Add the swinging squirrel image. Add the sentiments to finish the card.
