More Fun with Sugarspun Cupcakes

Hello
It's inspiration Wednesday today with the new Sugarspun collection. Create yummilicious projects with sugar laced cupcakes and candy treats.

Instructions: The finished card measures 6 inches by 6 inches. Cut white card stock to 12 inches by 6 inches and score at 6 inches on the longer side. Fold to make a horizontal top folding card. Cut a piece of pattern paper from paper collection a little smaller than card base and adhere to the card front. Select a 6 inch card panel design from paper collection and cut out the middle part with a paper cutter.

Cut a piece of pattern paper a little smaller than the frame centre and mat it on eyelet rectangle frame cut from white card stock. Add this to the centre of the card front and pop it up with foam dots. Add the 6-inch frame and mount it with foam dots.

Cut two petite border frames from white card stock and add to the top and bottom of frame with the die cut tucked inside the two sides of the frame.

Stamp the cupcakes, cherries and hearts with black ink on white card stock. Colour with Zig real brush pens and cut with matching die. Add the images as shown and popped up with foam dots. Highlight the images with glossy accents and let it dry.

Finish the card with a birthday sentiment or any sentiment of your choice.

Framed Pansy Blooms.


Hello

This is my last card for the new Burst of Spring collection. The pansy flowers are so beautiful . I love this lacy diamond backdrop with the these purple blooms. Do follow the instructions and make one for yourself.

Instructions: The finished card size measures 7 inches by 5 inches. To make the card base, cut white card in 10 inches by 7 inches and score at 5 inches mark on the longer side. Fold to make a card base. Distress the edges of the card base with Distress ink.

Cut a 6 3/4 inches by 4 3/4 inches pattern paper design from the paper collection and adhere to card front using clear glue.

Cut two pieces of die cuts from Petite pockets die set. Adhere the two together with glue as shown. Cut a pattern paper 4 3/4 inches by 5 1/2 inches. Distress the edges with Distress ink. Adhere the die cuts to this as shown. Adhere the whole piece on the card front with foam tape.

Stamp the Pansy frame image on white card stock. Colour with Zig markers and cut with coordinating die. Cut the small lattice die cut from Lacy Diamond die and adhere to the centre of pansy frame. Cut an A2 card frame from pattern paper. Add the lace die cut on top from the Decorative die set. Adhere the Pansy frame on this panel and adhere to the card.

Stamp the pansy flower image with majestic violet ink and Vibrant Fuchsia ink on white card stock and colour the flowers with archival ink. Mold the flowers in the pansy mold and give further shape with groove golf tools. Add the flowers and leaves to the pansy frame

Cut a small diamond die cut. Cut a sentiment from pattern paper and add to the card to finish it.

Lacy Diamond Dies--New Release by Heartfelt Creations

Lacy intricate dies are always a delight to work with and this month Heartfelt creations has come up with. These nesting dies give a beautiful cut work lacy background for those perfect blooms. Instructionsi

The finished card measures 7 inches by 5 inches. Cut white card stock to size 7 inches by 10 inches and score at 5 inches on the longer side. Fold to make the card base.

Cut pattern paper to cover the card front. This is the first mat layer and it is a little smaller than the card front.

Adhere  the paper. Cut the Intricate lace frame in white card stock and remove the inner part within the stitched lines  with  a paper cutter. Adhere on the mat layer with foam dots. Cut a pink colour paper from the paper collection to the size to fit the inside of the frame. Cut it as frame and adhere with foam dots on the intricate lace frame die cut.


Cut the gold mirror card stock using the diamond die. Cut an eyelet diamond die cut frame in white card stock. Distress the edges with green ink pad. Add the diamond frame on the gold die cut.

Instructions:
The whole project has been assembled in the Tim Holtz configuration box. To start, remove the inside boxes and cover all the edges with washi tape. Add  washi tape also on all the sides of the box. No edge should remain uncovered . Then cut small paper sizes from the pattern paper to cover the  inside and  out side  the small boxes and with clear glue add the papers inside and outside each box to covet them totally. Distress the edges with Seedless preserve distress ink.


Measure the dimensions of the configuration box and cut card stock a little smaller . Distress the edges with seedless preserve ink and adhere to the inside, front back and also on the spine.
Cut pattern paper from the paper collection , little smaller than the white card stock layer and distress with same ink. Adhere on the card stock base layer on all the sides

To make the front of the box, cut  a pattern paper 1 inch smaller than the first mat layer and distress the edges with seedless preserve ink. Adhere with foam tape. Cut two die cut frame from frame a card die set and distress the edges with same ink.
Adhere to the front. Cut the vintage picture with oval die. Cut a matching oval frame and distress the edges. Adhere on the oval picture.
Adhere this on the frame.
Repeat the same process for the inside of the box , on the left hand side
Cut the decorative tags and edges and add to the front of the box.

Stamp the roses image in Plum ink on Floral Oriental paper. Follow the video link for making roses. Colour the images with same ink. Cut with coordinating die. Mold the flowers in the Rose flower shaping mold. Give them further shape with Groove golf tool. Assemble to form roses.


Stamp the petite flowers on vellum with embossing ink. Add white embossing powder and heat set with heat tool. Cut with coordinating die. Add a pollen.

Make leaves using the green archival ink and the Leafy accents, stamp and die set along with the Leafy Accents mold. Shape with Groove Golf tools.

Stamp the Floral gown and mannequin in plum ink. Colour with Zig markers and cut with coordinating die.
Assemble to form a dress.
Assemble the inner small boxes in the box and adhere with glue. Use the various elements and embellishments as shown in the picture, to decorate each box. Adhere with hot glue. Arrange flowers and leaves as shown. Decorate front of the box with roses, filler flowers and leaves. Add glitter to give extra shine. Cut small sentiment tags to finish the box.

Instructions:
This is a 8 inches by 8 inches card top folding card. To make the card base, cut two pieces of card stock measuring 8 inches by 8 inches and another 8 inches by 8 ½ inches. Score the second piece at ½ inch mark and fold. Apply glue on the inside flap and place the first piece on it to make the card base.
Cut a pattern paper from the paper collection a little smaller than the card base and adhere to the card front. Cut another piece of pattern paper matching the design shown on the card, distress the edges with paper distresser to give a torn effect. Adhere on the first mat layer with foam tape.

Cut a border in white card stock from the Eyelet borer basic die and adhere on the card front in the centre.
Stamp the  hand stitched background image with embossing ink on vellum paper. Add white embossing powder and heat set with heat gun. Cut a stitched frame from white card stock and add the embossed vellum at the back. Adhere this to the card front with foam tape in the centre covering the border die at the base.

Cut an eyelet frame rectangle in white card stock using the smaller dies. Cut a designer paper at its back with clear glue and adhere at the base of the card front as shown. Cut the Intricate Swirl lace frame in white card stock and just add a small piece of the frame on the top of the embossed stitched frame with clear glue.

Add the insert of the lace frame die horizontally on the embossed frame die. Stamp the sentiment from Celebrate Love sentiment set on the oval insert of the frame. Add to the card front with foam tape.

Stamp the images in different colours of majestic violet and vibrant Fuschia from the Patchwork Daisy cling stamp. Cut with matching die and color with the same colors.
Stamp  the flowers from buttons and blooms collection in red ink. Cut with coordinating die. Shape them on the flower making tool kit. Add buttons. Add glossy accents on the buttons.
Stamp the leaves from the leafy accents cling stamp and cut with coordinating die. Shape them on the leafy accents mold. Add purple flower pearls to the smaller flowers.

Arrange the flowers and other patchwork flowers , with the leaves on the card front to finish the card. Use small pieces of foam tape to pop up the flowers.

Instructions: 

The card base measures 7 inches by 5 inches. To make the card base, cut white card stock  10 inches by 7 inches. Score at 5 inches on the longer side and fold. Cut a pattern paper ¼ inch smaller in dimension from the card base, from the paper collection that has a yellow background . Adhere to the card front using foam tape.

Cut a die cut from Intricate frame die set. Remove the inside frame with a paper cutter.  Cut a piece of white card stock that can be added as a backing to the frame. Distress this with Peeled Paint ink  and score at 1/8th inch interval on the scoring board.

Cut a zig zag design from the paper collection using the coordinating die and add to the frame at the bottom using foam strips.

Stamp the pocket image with Vibrant  Fuschia ink and cut with coordinating  die. Distress the pocket with the same ink and adhere on the card front as shown.

Stamp flowers in blue and yellow ink. Using any marker of the same colours , add some coloring inside the flowers. Cut with matching die. Stamp and cut buttons to coordinate with the flower colors.

Stamp the leaves in Library Green ink and color with Leaf Green ink using the sponge daubers. Cut the leaves with matching die and shape them in the Leafy Accents mold 

Add the leaves on the card using the clear designer glue. Add the flowers.
Stamp a sentiment from Hand stitched Accent Cling stamp and add some stitched lines. Add this to the card .
Finish the card with adding Glossy Accents, clear water  droplets and twine to the card.

Instructions.

Make a card base from White card stock. Cut it to 6 inches by 12 inches. Score at 6 inch mark on the longer side and fold to make a card base 6 inches by 6 inches.
Cut a pattern paper ¼ inch shorter than the card base. Adhere on the card front keeping the fold as top folding card.

Cut die cuts in white card stock using the eyelet circle and the smaller circle next to it to make an eyelet frame. Cut the stitched frame using the same method. Cut two sweet heart borders die. Cut the sentiment die cut, and the ornamental tag die cut with base. 

 Distress the stitched frame die cut with Faded Jeans ink. Distress the Gift of  Love die cut with Chipped sapphire ink. Distress the ornamental tags with faded jeans ink.
Layer the ornamental tags together using the clear glue and metal tip.
Adhere the eyelet frame on the card front. Add the stitched frame die. Add the sweet heart borders on the two sides of the frame. 

Stamp the flowers and buttons with Red, yellow and  blue ink on Floral oriental paper. Colour using the same colours. Cut using the matching die.  Shape the flowers and buttons on the shaping kit. Layer the flowers together. Add the buttons . Add glossy accents and let it dry. Make many leaves using the Leafy accents mold and stamp set. 
Stamp the pocket image in Aged Mahogany ink and colour . Cut with matching die. Add to the card front using foam tape.
Arrange the flowers, leaves and buttons on the card.
Add the ornamental tag.

Today I am sharing another card that is adorned with beautiful blossoms and a naughty little Squirrel enjoying itself swinging and having fun.

Instructions: 
The finished card base measures 7 inches by 5 inches. To make this card base, Cut white card stock to 10 inches by 7 inches. Score at 55 inch on the longer side and fold. 

Add a mat layer from Designer paper pad choosing a light pink shaded background. This mat layer is ¼ inch shorter than the car base. Give the edges a torn look with the help of the scissors edge. Adhere to the card base using clear glue.

Stamp the leaf accents image on light green background paper using the leaf green ink. Cut this paper in three strips of 1 ½ inches  and 6 ¾ inches. Adhere to the mat layer leaving some gap in between. Adhere with foam tape.

Stamp the swinging squirrel image two times on white card stock.  Colour one of them with Distress inks using sponge dauber. Cut with coordinating die. Adhere this colored image on the second image using clear glue.

Cut two eyelet rectangle frames from the same die set and position as shown on the card front. Adhere with foam strips.

Stamp the flower image and the chestnut image several times on white card stock. Color with Distress inks and Archival inks. Cut with coordinating die. Shape the leaves in the leafy accents mold .
 Give further shape using golf tools.

Stamp the flowers and color with Cactus flower ink. Cut with matching die. Mold and shape the flowers using the 3D shaping mold for the same flowers. 
Shape the flowers further to give realistic look using the golf tools.

Layer two flowers together. Add pollens. Make nuts images n the same manner.
Make several  leaves using the Leafy accents set.

Arrange, the flowers, leaves and the nuts on the card. Adhere with clear glue. Add the swinging squirrel image. Add the sentiments to finish the card.

The finished card measures 7 inches by 5 inches. For this , cut white card stock 10 inches by 7 inches and score at 5 inches on the longer side. Fold to make a card base. For the mat layer , cut a designer paper from the paper collection to size 4 ¾ th inch by 6 ¾ th inches. Adhere to card base.

Cut a piece of white card stock to size 6 inches by 4 inches and distress with leaf green ink using a sponge dauber.
Cut the edges on the longer side using the border dies. Score this piece at 1/8th inch interval on the score board.
Cut another deep purple color paper from the paper collection and cut it to the size as shown on card and use the plain edge border die to cut its edges.

Stamp the flower image several times with Majestic violet ink and color with same color. Cut using coordinating die and shape in the 3D shaping mold. Give more realistic look to the flower using the groove golf tool. Add stamens in the flowers.
Make filler flowers using the vibrant fuschia ink. Make leaves from the classic rose set using green inks and further give shape using groove golf tools.

Stamp the cottage , squirrels  in black ink on white card stock. Colour with Zig markers. Further stamp and cut the windows and colour them with markers. Adhere the window frames on the cottage image to give dimensional look.

Adhere the border may layers on the card front as shown using foam tape. Arrange the flowers and leaves using clear glue. Adhere the cottage, and other squirrels on the card.

Finish the card by adding sentiments.

Poinsettias Wreath for Christmas

Hello

Continuing with the Christmas inspirations from the Merry and Bright collection.
Today I have a the traditional Christmas wreath made on a simple background.

Instructions

Make a card base from white card stock. Cut it two pieces 5 inches by 7 1/2 inches and 5 inches by 7 inches. Score the bigger piece at 1/2 inch mark on the longer side. Add some adhesive on the flap and adhere the second piece on the flap. This makes a top folding 7 inches by 5 inches card base.
Cut pattern paper a little smaller than the card base. Distress the edges to give torn edge look. Adhere to the card base. Make a second mat layer like this but smaller than the previous layer.

Cut white card stock 6 inches by 4 inches and score at 1/2 inch interval on the scoring board. Swipe distress ink pads from top to bottom to give a wood grain look. Repeat with the other inks till you get the desired result.
Adhere on the card front.

Stamp the sentiment in black ink on any circle die cut to fit the wood mat layer.
Adhere on this mat layer.

Stamp the poinsettia flowers with Rose madder ink on floral oriental paper. Cut with coordinating die. Colour the flowers and leaves with archival inks using sponge daubers. Put the flowers in the 3d shaping mold and mist with water. Pass this through the die cutting machine to mold the flowers.
Layer the flowers together and add prills.
Add some clear glue with the brush on the flowers and add some glitter powder.

Arrange the flowers and poinsettia leaves on the circle around the sentiment.
Stamp the ornament branch from Merry Little Christmas set in black ink and colour with markers. Adhere two die cuts together. Adhere these on the wreath as shown in the card.

Finish the card by adding more glitter powder and some sequins.

Sparkling Christmas Inspiration

Instructions

Make card base from white card stock measuring 6" x 12 inches. Fold to make a 6" by 6" card base.
Cut a 6 x6 inch card panel design given in the Merry and Bright paper collection. Distress the edges with a paper distresser. Apply glue on the edges and add some glitter powder.

Cut another 6  inches card panel from the paper pack. Remove the outer frame with the help of paper knife. Distress the edges of the centre mat layer with paper distresser and apply glue. Repeat the process of adding glitter. Adhere this panel on the first mat layer using foam tape.

Distress the mat layer die cut for the decorative medallion die with Rose madder ink and add the medallion die cut. Add Glitter on the edges of the die cut. Adhere to the center of the card.

Cut the largest of the circle from the Eyelet circle die set with eyelets.
Cut the next circle . For both circles , apply any pink colour and add glitter.
Adhere on top of each other and adhere to the card front.

Cut the deer picture using circle die . See the size to be used as given on card. Mat it on bigger circle die cut. Distress and apply glitter on the edges.

Cut another small circle die cut. Stamp Christmas sentiment and mat it on bigger circle die cut. Distress the edges and add glitter. Adhere all the circle die cut panels as shown on the card.

Stamp flowers and leaves from the poinsettia set and the snowy pine set.
Colour with archival inks.
Make flowers in the 3d shaping mold.
Shape the leaves with groove golf tools. Stamp the poinsettia flowers with versamark embossing ink on vellum. Add white embossing powder and heat set,
Cut with coordinating die. Gently shape with groove golf tools. Layer the flowers and add prills.

Arrange all the flowers and leaves on the card front on the top right. Finish by adding some clear water droplets wherever needed.

NON TRADITIONAL CHRISTMAS CARD-HEARTFELT CREATION

Hello to all !!!

Christmas just three and half months away and though it seems to be long away, there is little time if you see the loads of preparations that is required for the festive season.
We all need a number of cards and now is the time to finish up the card making sessions. For this Heartfelt creations has brought out wonderful collections with Christmas theme dies and stamps and papers that will make your Christmas Projects look like a cakewalk.

Today, I thought of going a little out of my comfort zone and create something that has the festive essence and yet look different. So I chose non traditional Christmas colors and I was quite happy with the results. You also leave a note as to whether you liked it or not.

Instructions

Make a card base from white card stock. Cut white card stock 10" b 7 inches and score on 5 inch at the longer side. Fold to make a 7 inches by 5 inches card base.

Cut pattern paper that is a little smaller than the card base and adhere to the card front using clear glue.

Cut a black frame from the Intricate frame die and adhere to the card base on that mat layer using foam tape.

Cut two circles from the circle basics die. Choose the size that is about 3 inches big and a size smaller than that. Emboss the big die cut with embossing folder in a die cut machine. Lightly brush the die cut with Iced spruce distress ink. On the smaller die cut, stamp the Christmas sentiment and ink the edges  with Iced Spruce ink.

Stamp the poinsettia flowers on white card stock and cut using coodinating die,.. Ink the flowers wih shades of given blue inks . Shape further in the flower making kit and the groove golf tools.

Layer he flowers and add pearl in the centre. Add black prills using clear glue.

Stamp pine cones and leaves . Color with green archival inks and zig brush pens. Cut with coordinating die.  Cut a few pine cone leaves in gold card stock.

Stamp the accents image with matching colors and color with zig brush pens. Cut with matching die.

Gather all the elements together. First adhere the embossed die cut on the left side inside the frame. Then add the flowers, leaves , pine cones, gold die cuts , accents all together as shown on the card.

Finish by adding the circle with sentiment.
