Introducing The Venise Lace Blog Hop

Hi there, welcome to the Amazing  Paper Grace Creative Team Blog Hop. Today we are introducing a new die collection by Becca Feeken called Venise Lace.  I'll list all of the creative team so that you don't miss a beat but don't forget, each of us will be giving away an Amazing Paper Grace die pulled from the comments left on each of the Amazing Paper Grace Creative Team blogs - details at the bottom of my post.   We thought it would be awesome to introduce the dies along with samples to show what you can make.  So, without further ado let me talk about the two dies I get to introduce:

by Becca Feeken of Amazing Paper Grace in the Venise Lace Collection.

For my project, I have created a card that highlights the beauty of the Marcheline Plume die. So majestic and royal is this die, that I decided to keep all other elements and embellishments to the minimum. Its a complete die set with lacy medallion that can be used separately or paired with the main die. Here I have cut it into two and used on both ends of the circle .

I love this die as it is a complete set to create grandeur cards with so much ease. The three dies available in the set can be layered to make beautiful and ornate projects.

Here is the supplies that I used to make this card.

My second projects is a Floral Grandeur card.
This card highlights the Spellbinders S4-792 Venise Lace Cinch and Go Flowers Two by Becca Feeken of Amazing Paper Grace in the Venise Lace Collection.

For this card, I wanted to highlight the beautiful flowers that are so easy to make using the Cinch and Go Flowers 2 die. The flowers come in many sizes so one can make big multi layered flowers like this or simple filler flowers as shown above,
I am very passionate about flower making so this die is certainly my favourite and I can create a variety of blooms with this one die.
Here is a step by step tutorial on how to create these flowers. But stay tuned till the end for the giveaway information and the blog links.

Cut the flowers and leaves in 270 gsm matte finish white card stock and colour with Archival inks.

Soak the flowers in water for 10 seconds and drain on a towel

Hold each petal with a tweezer and fold together and curve out the two top edges as shown. Repeat for all the flowers.

One flower requires 3 big , two medium and one small die cut.
Adhere the layers together with glue offsetting the petals with each layers.

For the filler flowers, choose the smallest die cut and remove a petal.
Colour the centre with green ink

Shape the flowers with an embossing tool and pollens or pearls in the centre.

 Colour and shape the leaves

Arrange the flowers and leaves on the project
